Emma and I

This is a picture of us when were about eleven and twelve. It doesn't feel like it was that long ago, but we look a lot younger!

Our family's less dignified side

I decided to let you gals have a glipmse of the weirdos we are. (I think Christine already knows ;-) After we played BrainQuest, we decided to take pictures of all of us in goofy poses, like "thoughtful" and "strong". They turned out really weird, and I decided to share them with you. My mom in not in them, because she is soooo dignified. ;)

Papa picked this one, also.

Abbie chose this pose.

Elijah chose this one. "Thought"

I guess you can tell that this was a strange evening.

Fun with make-up.

On Thursday we went to Christine's house, and once again tried to act out a scene from a Cadfael book. Can't say it worked very well, but we had fun, especially putting eyeshadow all over our faces. (We were supposed to be dirty.) Though it looked as if we had been beat up rather than just gotten dirty. And I found out something about her - guess what? She can't pick me up! (Well, to be honest, I can't pick her up either). When she was supposed to be rescuing me, I had to walk.

Here we are, looking as normal as possible:

"I got beat up and you didn't"

Smile!

Well, maybe I did get beat up a little bit.... ;)

A cool dress and other stuff

I put together a kind of Renaisannce/Elizabethethan/1800's looking outfit today. I had it all: hoopskirt, corset, hairstyle, lots and lots of underskirts. I've been re-reading the Brother Cadfael mysteries lately, and I guess that inspired it. Christine, remember when you had just read One Corpse Too Many, and we dressed up and did the Aline/Godith scene? You came across as insane, and I acted like a zombie ;) We were like:

Christine: Ahhhhhhhh!!!! EEEEEEEEEKKKKK! Heeeeeeellllppppp! The King Steven's soldiers are after meeeee!!! (falls on knees at my feet)

Emma (with no expression at all): Oh no. Godric. Come in.

Christine: I'm not GODITH, I'm GODRIC!!!! I mean.....um..... urrrrr! I forgot again!

However, maybe we could do it better now, if we both read it again. We watched one of the movies today, and now Elijah is going around saying " I'm Hugh Beringer, under-sherrif of Shropshire, etc.....". He was sick yesterday, and we thought it was the flu, but no one else has it as yet, which is good. Our talent show is this Sunday, and I'm in about six different things. 8-O Skits, magic tricks, and piano playing. Elijah decided to play Redwall BY HIMSELF, for which I and infinitly grateful to him ;D Anywho, here's the pictures:

Sorry about the ramble!
